I’m an event planner based in Washington, DC.  

Previously Manager of Special Events at The John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts; now the Culinary Partnerships & Events Manager for the Mid-Atlantic Region at Share Our Strength, the organization behind the No Kid Hungry campaign.  

During my over 16 years in the events world, I've learned that color is your friend; always trust your instinct; be kind and patient; you can't control everything, especially traffic; and take a minute, before the event begins, to take it all in.
